📲 Manage Your Budget with a Simple Text!

🚀 Getting Started

Before you start using smsBudgetAI, make sure to complete these steps:

• 🔑 Login to Your Account: Visit smsBudgetAI Dashboard and log in.
• 📂 Set Up Your Categories: Create your income and expense categories.
• ⚠️ Budget Limits (Optional): For expense categories, you can set a budget limit to receive alerts when you’re close to the limit. This is not required.

🚫 Important Notes Before You Start

• ✔ No Emojis – Any emojis in your messages will be removed. Avoid using them to ensure accurate processing.
• ✔ No Reactions – If you "like" or react to an SMS from smsBudgetAI, it will not be processed.

💸 Add an Expense

• 📩 Text: "Spent 25.50 on groceries" → ✅ Result: Expense of $25.50 added to "Groceries".
• 📩 Text: "Paid 40 for gas" → ✅ Result: Expense of $40 added to "Gas".

💰 Add an Income

• 📩 Text: "Received 1500 from salary" → ✅ Result: Income of $1500 added to "Salary".
• 📩 Text: "200 from freelance gig" → ✅ Result: Income of $200 added to "Freelance".

📋 Retrieve Categories

To see available categories, just ask!

• 📩 Text: "What are my categories?" → ✅ Result:
• Expense Categories: Groceries, Rent, Utilities, Gas, Eating Out
• Income Categories: Salary, Freelance, Business Income, Investments

🗑️ Delete Last Entry

• 📩 Text: "Delete last income" → ✅ Result: The AI will remove the most recent income entry.
• 📩 Text: "Delete last expense" → ✅ Result: The AI will remove the most recent expense entry.

Get information about your budget

This is a powerful feature that allows you to ask the AI questions about your budget.

⚠️ THIS FEATURE IS IN BETA, and the AI may not understand all questions. Here are some examples of how to use it:

• 📩 Text: "How much have I spent on groceries this month?" → ✅ Result: You have spent $150 on groceries this month.
• 📩 Text: "What is my balance this month?" → ✅ Result: Your balance is $500 this month. (Balance = Income - Expenses)
• 📩 Text: "What was my balance last month?" → ✅ Result: Your balance is $800 this month. (Balance = Income - Expenses)
• 📩 Text: "How much did I spend on eating out last month?" → ✅ Result: You spent $200 on eating out last month.
• 📩 Text: "How much did I spent on groceries and eating out this week?" → ✅ Result: You spent $200 on eating out last month.

Things that the AI will not understand:
• 🚫 Asking questions about more than 1 month at a time, example: "How much did I spend on groceries last month and this month?"
  ❌ Result: The AI will not understand this question. OR you might receive not answer at all.
• AI might also not understand the way you phrase your questions, if that is the case please try to rephrase your question.
